When I ordered four bicycle tires from Amazon.com, they shipped them in four huge boxes packed with a total of 250 feet of crumpled paper packing material. Does Amazon.com hate trees or something? Unbelievable waste from a retailer that should know better...

Yes, amazon is not good at packaging it's products. I received many boxes that were WAY too large and did not protect the items properly. As for the comments trying to knock Mike for using a backhoe to move the paper, it was obviously to add humor to the wastefulness that is Amazon's failure of a packing department, and Mike took the time to speak out about it unlike passive people like us commenting on his actions (which speak louder always). Thanks Mike, Amazon is awesome but needs work in it's packing department, gladly they offer "packaging Feedback" on each order & I always fill it out hoping someone will alter their out of control current procedures.

Mike, This is a show stopper video. Maybe Amazon did that just to see if you were paying attention. So the joke is on you. And how does Mike react? By posting a video, of course. Thanks, Mike, for this side splitter video. I'm still rolling on the floor laughing.

I hope Amazon gets the message. They must train their people to pack according to the fragility of the items! Bike tires need NO packing materials! Maybe just tape them together. I read reviews of hard drives and some mentioned that the hard drive was banging around inside a large box. A hard drive should not be loose! Makes you wonder if there are real people doing this... or just robots.

OK, so a lot of packaging, but did you really have to be so non green yourself by using that thing to pick up paper. You made your point then ruined it by doing that!

Last time I looked a bicycle - so - why do you NEED 4 bicycle tires?? Why did you need a BACKHOE to move light paper?? It makes me wonder who really is the "Un-green" culprit??

Yeah it is pretty ludicrous.
