C. Herb not being a jerk but why don't you do the research yourself? You can read what many people post here. Science isn't everything. Science thought the world was flat at one time or that man could never fly much less land on the moon or space travel. My research has led me to believe there is lots of validity in being able to tell different conditions in the iris and with what's going on inside the body. downunder, bakbrakr1 and especially Dacodyboy posted insightful information. There is science behind it but like anything else it's not a magic bullet or a cure all. www.DrCarlosMGonzalez.com

I am a practicing iridologist in Australia and I have to say the old system that states the structures of the iris change has been updated; the fact is, yes we can gain colours in the iris but the structure and patterns of the fibres do not change from birth. There are many practitioners who incorrectly use iridology to assess current strengths/weakness in the body. If you have a legion or a psora over your liver area, I'm sorry to say nothing you do will remove or 'heal' that. This does not mean iridology doesn't work, it just needs to be updated. Toni MIller is doing a wonderful job re-educating people in Australia. www.iridologyonline.com is her website.

Health Ranger, I wish you got some real info on this subject and not just your opinion. I have been going to regular quacks (doctors) for years and they could not help me with issues because they couldn't see the symptoms outright to give me any drugs for the symptoms, however, i KNEW there was an issue. Anyway, i finally went to an iridologist and she saw EVERYTHING, even things i forgot about. They are the TRUTH. Go visit one and give us another review with info people can actually use. :) Love your stuff.

It is totally true. My eyes were clear blue when I was little. By the time I was 40 they were blotched with brown and black spots. I read up on a pamphlet of iridology and was horrified by what I learned, because it was true. I then found a powerful cellular detox program called Purification Rundown - it was really done for another reason, but one of the most noticeable improvements was, my eyes went back to their original color and all the spots were gone. My family pointed it out to me - I had not really been looking there because there were so many other health improvements. I learned I had been severely toxic with chemicals and radiation with no idea how much until they sweated out of me in the sauna program. As I continue a healthy lifestyle, my eyes get brighter and clearer, and I will be 59 years old this summer.

I went to see a Dr at Healing Therapies in La Mesa, CA. I had never seen him before in my life. I sat in the chair and he looked into my eye and proceeded to tell me about every surgery I had had; various ailments in my body; family weaknesses; even a back injury - and which side of the body! It was as if he were reading my body's Journal! Yes, it is absolutely amazing, and it is real. Of course, everything is only as good as the Practitioner, and he was awesome and right on on everything.

Iridology dates back to ancient Egypt. It has more reliability than conventional medicine where Dr's GUESS what is wrong with you, throw you a handful of prescriptions which poison your system, never try to CURE the problem (they would lose $ that way), but put a bandaid on it. Many times the dr is completely wrong on the true cause of one's illness. Conventional medicine is called "practice" for a reason, and YOU are their guinea pigs!

Well he already states that he is not professionally qualified to speak medicially, so I would say that the answer to the question is "no..." scientifically speaking. But "wholistically speaking" on might say the Iridology is "alternative medicine"... no?

HerbDreyer...Yes Iridology is a science. It is backed by centuries (first documented in the late 1600s) of study, observation and experimentation. In the last century, Dr. Bernard Jensen spent most of his career studying and furthering the knowledge of the practice of Iridology. Mike...one comment on your video...most of those that practice Iridology will say that they cannot diagnose based on what they observe in the iris of an individual's eye, as the eye only reflects conditions in the rest of the body such as the integrity of the body, its constitutional strength, areas of congestion or toxic accumulations, inherent strengths or weaknesses. These signs indicate a level of dis-ease, not necessarily a specific disease. Also, a good portion of those that practice Iridology are not doctors so cannot legally diagnose.

Well, is it based on science? You did not give much insight as to what this video was to be based on. So, is it based on science or just you opinion, good as it might be?
