My heart goes out to any person who has been diagnosed with this condition. Research tell us that it’s on the increase as more and more people become prescribed SSRI drugs by GP’s to treat their symptoms of depression (Low moods, with an aversion to activity, feeling sadness – 1 in 4 women and 1 in 10 men will be treated for this according to the NHS), rather than EMPOWERING them to find out the root cause or aetiology. Three reasons I’m aware of, which may be factors leading to this condition: Biochemistry in your brain, Your Physiology and What & How you Focus on. If you’d like to know how BALANCED your brains biochemistry is with reference to your neurotransmitters (serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine, etc) then you can read more at http://www.mtenergie.com/neurogistics.asp I refer all my clients to Neurogistics.com. When our neurotransmitter are balanced properly, scientific research reveals that it can have a positive effect on every aspect of your life and relationships, from sleep cycles to how we respond to stress, from self-esteem to job performance and more. Physiology - Your body movements will play a huge role in how you feel too. Remember “Emotion is created by motion”. Find the right modality that works for you. Go for a walk, practice Tai Chi, Qi-Gong, Yoga, etc. Finally, WHAT and HOW you focus on things in your life will also determine your whole quality of life. If you focus on things that dis-empower you they will continue to do just that! By asking SMARTER questions (you’re always evaluating your moments) you’ll be able to see, hear, feel, taste and smell those things you love, admire, are grateful for etc. But you’ve got to change your focus.
