In 1985 Vasanti Niemz was the first member of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team to cross the English Channel. 25 years later she is still more than eager to transcend herself with swimming competitions and evem plans to make a special Triathlon added a bike and running section to the Channel swimming, leading up to her native town Heidelberg. In this interview conducted at the Seashore in Nha Trang, Vietnam in 2012, Vasanti reveals how meditation is a major part in her ventures.
